Pahrump residents will soon have a unique opportunity to pause, recharge and reconnect as a new wellness retreat series makes its debut in the community this summer.
Organized by Heather Williams of Pahrump Wellness Sanctuary, the first Selah Sol Weekend Wellness Experience is set for June 12–14 at Treasures RV Resort. The three-day retreat is designed to offer a blend of relaxation, education and meaningful community connection—all while allowing participants to return home each evening or stay on site if they choose.
“This has been something I’ve wanted to bring to Pahrump for a long time,” Williams shared. “It gives us the chance to create something that’s not only focused on wellness, but truly centered around our community.”
The Selah Sol retreat will feature a wide range of wellness experiences led by both local professionals and visiting facilitators. Guests can expect a thoughtfully curated schedule that includes yoga sessions led by Ada Wong, personal training guidance from Ashley Jordan, and sound bath experiences with Stefanie Jillian. The weekend will also include a two-part communication and interpersonal workshop by Alicia Lewis, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Rosemary Clarke Middle School, along with a two-part holistic wellness workshop led by licensed pharmacist Justin Curnutt, who is returning to Pahrump for the event.
From movement and mindfulness to education and self-care, the retreat is designed to meet participants wherever they are on their wellness journey, creating an environment that is both welcoming and enriching. In addition to structured sessions, attendees will also enjoy a special “Wine Down” evening featuring wine and appetizers alongside candlelight chair massages, offering a relaxing and social way to unwind.
One of the most unique elements of the weekend is “Ideas in the Desert,” a community-focused segment taking place on Saturday. Inspired by short-form, thought-provoking talks, this portion of the retreat will feature a series of 10-minute presentations from local voices. Speakers will share inspirational and meaningful ideas across a variety of topics, including perspectives from business leaders and individuals who have overcome personal challenges. The goal is to create a space where creativity, connection and conversation can thrive within the community.
While the retreat spans three days, it is designed with flexibility in mind. Participants can attend during the day and return home in the evenings, or make a full weekend of it by staying locally. RV accommodations are available on-site at Treasures RV Resort, and a group rate is being arranged at Best Western Pahrump Oasis for those needing lodging. The full weekend package is priced at $300 and includes meals along with access to all workshops and sessions.
Saturday will also feature dedicated self-care time, giving guests the opportunity to explore additional wellness offerings such as guided meditation, vibroacoustic sound bed sessions, spa services and optional pool access at Treasures RV Resort for $10. During this “Unwind” time, guests can also choose from a variety of optional, add-on services designed to enhance relaxation and overall wellness. These include BEMER Circulation Therapy for $35, a 20-minute session designed to support circulation and cellular function; a 20-minute Relaxation Foot Massage for $40 to ease tension and promote full-body relaxation; and a 30-minute Luxury Facial for $50 provided by Aesthetics by Makinlee, offering a refreshing treatment to cleanse, exfoliate and restore natural glow. In addition, nurse-administered IV Infusion Therapy will be available, including the Myers Cocktail for $205 for hydration and essential vitamin replenishment, the Ultimate Myers for $335 for deeper recovery and immune support, and the Performance Infusion for $335 designed to support energy, endurance and recovery. Pool access during this time will also be available for $10.
The retreat is a partnership between Pahrump Wellness Sanctuary and Treasures RV Resort, and Williams emphasized how meaningful the collaboration has been. She shared that working alongside the Treasures team and banquet coordinator Salli Kerr has been a positive and enjoyable process, helping bring the vision of this event to life. Organizers are also working to include additional local businesses, particularly for elements like the wine and appetizer offerings, further strengthening the community-focused atmosphere.
Although this is the first Selah Sol retreat in Pahrump, there are already plans to grow the series in the future. Williams hopes to host similar events on a quarterly basis, while remaining flexible to meet the needs and interests of the community.
