As construction on the new travel stop development across Homestead Road from Maverik nears completion, local residents will soon have an opportunity to apply for a variety of new jobs during an upcoming multi-day hiring event beginning tomorrow.
The hiring event is scheduled for Thursday, February 26 through Saturday, February 28, running daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Organizers are encouraging anyone interested in employment to attend prepared for same-day interviews and potential hiring opportunities.
Recruiters will be hiring for positions across all three businesses located within the new development: the Conoco gas station, Sbarro, and Rally’s. A wide range of roles are available, including crew members, team leaders, shift leads, and other operational positions.
Applicants are asked to bring a resume, a valid ID, and either a Social Security card or birth certificate. While attendees are encouraged to come ready to be hired, organizers note that employment is not guaranteed and will depend on the interview process and available openings.
The hiring event marks another step forward as the new commercial development prepares to open, bringing additional dining options, services, and employment opportunities to the Pahrump community. For many local job seekers, the event offers a chance to join one of several new businesses expected to serve both residents and travelers along Highway 160.
