Pahrump brought the heat in more ways than one as the Annual Chili Cook-Off returned March 20–22, delivering a weekend filled with flavor, fun and community spirit. Pahrump Valley residents looking to further their education will once again have local support, as Desert View Hospital has announced the return of its scholarship program for a second year. Building on the success of its inaugural effort, the hospital will award a total of six scholarships in 2026, providing $5,000 in funding to students and adult learners in the community.
