The Pahrump Valley Jr. High/High School Rodeo Club is getting ready to bring rodeo action home with a full weekend of competition scheduled for February 6–8, 2026. The hometown rodeo will showcase the dedication and hard work of local youth riders ranging from 5th grade through 12th grade, competing across a wide mix of events. The Pahrump Valley High School JV boys’ basketball team delivered a well-rounded effort on Wednesday, January 28, rolling to a decisive 56–4 victory over the Cristo Rey Royals in front of the home crowd. The Pahrump Valley High School varsity cheer team made a powerful statement in its return to competitive cheer, earning a second-place finish with zero deductions at the Spirit of the West Championships on Saturday, January 17.
