Community members are invited to enjoy an evening of wine, food, music and fellowship while supporting programs that empower women and girls during the upcoming First Friday at Artesian Cellars, hosted by Soroptimist International of Pahrump Valley.
The event will be held Friday, Aug. 7, beginning at 6 p.m. at Artesian Cellars, located at 1731 S. Highway 160 in Pahrump.
Billed as an evening of “fine wines, food, music and community,” the fundraiser will feature wine, food and live entertainment by Lynn Peterson. Proceeds from the event will help support Soroptimist programs benefiting women and girls in the community.
Soroptimist International is a global volunteer organization dedicated to providing women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment, with a special focus on those facing significant obstacles.
While organizers say additional details will be announced soon, the event promises to offer residents an opportunity to gather with friends, enjoy local wine and entertainment, and give back to a cause that invests in the future of women and girls.
