    Great Basin College Hosts Sweet Competition with Upcoming Bake-Off

    Pahrump, NV – Great Basin College (GBC) is turning up the heat in the kitchen with an exciting Bake-Off from February 12 to February 14, inviting the community to showcase their baking skills or simply indulge in some delicious homemade treats.

    The event, themed “Ignite the Fire,” is open to all and will be held at GBC’s Pahrump campus, 551 E Calvada Blvd. Participants can either compete in the bake-off or take part in the voting process by purchasing baked goods. Each purchase comes with a voting form, allowing attendees to have a say in crowning the best baker.

    Event Schedule:

    Feb. 12 – 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
    Feb. 13 – 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM
    Feb. 14 – 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

    Competition Rules:

    • No store-bought items – all entries must be homemade.
    • Respect is key – offensive language or disrespectful content will not be tolerated.
    • Family-friendly event – all entries should be appropriate for a diverse audience.
