The Pahrump Valley High School Trojans put on a dominant performance at home on April 1, shutting out the Sunrise Mountain Miners with a decisive 7-0 victory. Nye County School District is inviting families with young children to its upcoming Kindergarten and Pre-K Round Up, taking place on Friday, May 2, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Charleston Elementary School, located at 1521 Idaho Street in Pahrump. The event is open to all parents planning to enroll their child in kindergarten for the 2025–2026 school year. Forty-two excited students from Rosemary Clarke Middle School recently returned from an unforgettable adventure at the Catalina Island Marine Institute (CIMI), where hands-on science and outdoor exploration came together for an immersive educational experience. For Dane Clayton, high school has been a time of growth, grit, and memorable traditions.
