First graders from Community Christian Academy (CCA) experienced a hands-on lesson in agriculture when they toured Green Life Produce this week, getting the chance to see how vegetables grow—and even harvest carrots themselves. The Rosemary Clarke Middle School Sharks A Team gave fans an exciting matchup on Thursday, September 25, when they faced Lake Mead Christian Academy at home. The Sharks played with grit and teamwork through all three sets, showing determination and steady improvement as the night went on. The opening set saw RCMS adjusting to Lake Mead’s strong serving, with players like Milea Freitas-Faamai and Emri Wulfenstein making key plays at the net. The Pahrump Valley High School Trojans delivered a commanding performance on Friday, September 19, as they traveled to Las Vegas and overpowered the Cheyenne Desert Shields, 58-14. From the opening kickoff, Pahrump Valley seized momentum and showcased balance on both sides of the ball, racking up touchdowns while keeping constant pressure on Cheyenne’s offense. The Pahrump Valley High School cross country team took on a challenging 3-mile course at Buffalo Park in Flagstaff, Arizona, on Saturday, September 20, racing at an elevation of approximately 7,200 feet. Despite the thinner air and shorter distance than a traditional 5K, the Trojans put together a strong showing across all divisions, with several athletes finishing in the top 20 to earn medals. Remote Area Medical (RAM) is returning to Pahrump for its 10th year of offering free medical, dental, and vision services to the community. The highly anticipated clinic will be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5, 2025, on the Pahrump Valley High School campus, located at 501 E Calvada Blvd, in the Pathways building.
