The Pahrump Valley High School Lady Trojans junior varsity basketball team delivered a determined and energetic performance on Monday, December 8, defending their home court with a hard-fought 29–22 victory over the Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Falcons. Coral Academy opened the scoring, applying pressure early and forcing several turnovers, but the Lady Trojans quickly settled in. A beloved Pahrump holiday tradition is returning to Floyd Elementary this season, as the school prepares to host its annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 13, 2025. From 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., families are invited to gather in the school’s multi-purpose room for a warm, festive morning filled with pancakes, photos, and Christmas cheer. The Pahrump Valley High School Lady Trojans made school history this week, taking the field for the first flag football games in program history as both the junior varsity and varsity squads faced the Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons. A new era for youth volleyball has arrived in Pahrump with the formation of the Pahrump Valley Volleyball Club (PVVC), led by Pahrump Valley High School volleyball coach Amber Lugo.
