The Pahrump Valley High School Cross Country team continued its impressive season with solid performances across multiple divisions at the “O’Dea Frosh-Soph” meet, held Tuesday, October 7, at Desert Breeze Park. The 2.5-mile course featured rolling hills and long stretches of grass, offering a unique challenge that tested endurance and pacing for the younger runners.

In the freshman boys race, the Trojans were missing several teammates but still made a strong showing. Kris Trejo led the way with an 18:04.6 finish, while Isaiah Veloz crossed the line at 27:04.1. Both athletes showed determination on the demanding terrain and represented the freshman squad well despite the reduced lineup.
