Pahrump Mother’s Corner is inviting local families to celebrate parenthood, community support, and essential resources at the 4th Annual Community Baby Shower, taking place on Friday, May 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at NyE Communities Coalition, located at 1020 E. Wilson Road in Pahrump. This annual event is free to attend and is open to expecting parents and families with young children.
Designed as both a celebration and a support hub, the baby shower offers a variety of giveaways, community resources, and educational opportunities. One of the highlights of this year’s event includes the distribution of free car seats and pack ’n plays, made available through the Nye Communities Coalition’s Car Seat Safety and Safe Sleep classes. Those interested in receiving one of these items must RSVP through the event link, complete the appropriate class, and will then be eligible to receive their selected safety item on site.
Additionally, the first 30 expecting or new parents to arrive will receive a gift bag packed with baby essentials and helpful information. The event will also host several local organizations and vendors who are prepared to connect with families, offer services, and explain how their programs contribute to the wellbeing of children and parents in the Pahrump community.
Confirmed participating groups include WIC, Readers In Training, and many others, each bringing valuable information and assistance tailored to families raising young children. Attendees can expect to walk away with not only helpful items, but also a deeper understanding of the local support systems available to them.
The Community Baby Shower continues to grow each year thanks to the collaboration between Pahrump Mother’s Corner, Nye Communities Coalition, and dozens of community partners who believe in empowering parents with knowledge, safety resources, and connection
