One of Pahrump’s own is making waves on the softball diamond this spring, and now she needs your help to claim a statewide honor. Kayla Glenn, a standout player for the Pahrump Valley High School Trojans, has been named one of the top 10 high school softball pitchers in Nevada for 2025. The recognition comes as part of a public vote to determine the state’s best-performing pitcher this season—and voting is open now through Friday, May 2 at 8 p.m.

Glenn has been a force in the circle all season long. According to MaxPreps, she has thrown three no-hitters this spring, in her first year playing for the Trojans, showcasing her command, consistency, and ability to dominate opposing lineups. With 16 appearances on the mound, Glenn holds an impressive 10-1 record and a 2.87 ERA, helping lead the Trojans through a competitive schedule with focus and determination.

Her nomination places her in elite company among Nevada’s top high school pitchers, and it’s a testament to the hard work she’s put in throughout the season. But now, the final honor comes down to fan support—and that’s where the Pahrump community can step in.

If you’ve seen Kayla Glenn pitch or cheered her on from the stands, now is the time to show your support. Help recognize her incredible performance by casting your vote in the contest before it closes on Friday, May 2 at 8 p.m. Every vote counts, and your support could make the difference in bringing this statewide title home to Pahrump.

Click here to vote for Kayla Glenn.

Let’s rally behind Kayla and make sure all of Nevada knows the kind of talent our small town produces. Vote today and help crown Kayla Glenn as Nevada’s top high school softball pitcher of 2025.
