The Nye County School District (NCSD) is thrilled to announce a significant donation from the Robert & Sandra Ellis Charitable Fund, totaling over $35,000. This generous contribution will benefit schools in Amargosa Valley, Beatty, Gabbs, Round Mountain, and Tonopah, providing much-needed support to students and staff.

Each school’s principal will have the discretion to use these funds to address the most pressing needs of their students and families. Additionally, the Robert & Sandra Ellis Charitable Fund will be providing Skechers shoes and socks for students in grades 7-12, and Skechers shoes and toys for students in grades Pre-K through 6. This thoughtful gesture ensures that students have the necessary footwear and supplies to start the school year on the right foot.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Robert & Sandra Ellis Charitable Fund for their generosity and commitment to our students,” said Bryan Wulfenstein, President of the Nye County School Board. “These donations will make a real difference in the lives of our students and will help us to provide them with the resources they need to succeed.”

The NCSD is deeply appreciative of the support from the Robert & Sandra Ellis Charitable Fund and looks forward to continuing to work together to improve the lives of students in Nye County.
