The Southern Nye County Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of Nevada (NFB) hosted its second annual White Cane Day event, celebrating independence for the blind and visually impaired. This past weekend, the 12th annual Spooky Jingles arts and crafts fair at the Bob Ruud Community Center brought together 39 vendors for three days of festive fun. Held on October 11, 12, and 13, the event showcased a wide range of handmade goods, including Halloween and Christmas-themed items, jewelry, baked goods, hand-crafted and painted items, wreaths, decor, hats, shirts, and more.
