Animal lovers looking to add a new four-legged family member will have the opportunity to do just that as Never Forgotten Animal Society hosts its “Paws into August” Adoption Event on Saturday, Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This month’s event will take place at Pet Supplies Plus, located at 70 S. Highway 160, Suite 105, marking a change from previous adoption events that were held at Tractor Supply. Organizers are encouraging community members to note the new location when planning to attend.

Throughout the event, visitors will have the chance to meet dogs and cats currently waiting for forever homes. To help more animals find loving families, Never Forgotten Animal Society will also be offering reduced adoption fees during the event.

The adoption event is designed to connect homeless pets with families while highlighting the important role pet adoption plays in giving animals a second chance. Every adoption not only provides a home for one pet but also creates space for the rescue to continue helping other animals in need.

Representatives from Never Forgotten Animal Society will be available throughout the day to answer questions about the adoption process and help match prospective adopters with pets that fit their homes and lifestyles.

The event’s move to Pet Supplies Plus also gives adopters the convenience of shopping for food, toys, beds and other pet essentials before bringing their new companion home.

Whether attendees are ready to adopt or simply want to learn more about the rescue’s mission, organizers invite the community to stop by, meet the animals and support local pet adoption efforts.

The “Paws into August” Adoption Event will be held Saturday, Aug. 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pet Supplies Plus, 70 S. Highway 160, Suite 105, Pahrump. Organizers hope the community will help open hearts, open homes and save lives by giving a deserving pet a forever family.
