On Wednesday, September 11, Rosemary Clarke Middle School (RCMS) celebrated the generosity of two key community sponsors, unveiling banners in their honor during a home volleyball game in the school’s newly updated gym. The banners, dedicated to Taylor Morrison and Valley Electric Association (VEA), recognize their ongoing support and contributions to the school’s students and staff.
Taylor Morrison, a long-time supporter, has donated backpacks and school supplies to RCMS for the past couple of years, ensuring students have the tools they need to succeed. Meanwhile, VEA presented a generous $3,000 check this year, which has been used to fund student and staff incentives. In addition to their financial contribution, VEA also provides annual donations of school supplies, further solidifying their commitment to the RCMS community.
Principal April Sutton expressed the school’s deep appreciation for these partnerships. “The impact of their sponsorships goes beyond financial support; it symbolizes a partnership in our school vision. Together, we are building a community of collaboration. To show our appreciation, we are proudly displaying banners with these companies in our newly updated gym. They will forever be a part of our Shark family. Thank you. GO SHARKS!” she said.
The unveiling of these banners not only highlights the tangible benefits these companies have provided but also symbolizes the strong bond between RCMS and the broader community. As the gym fills with cheers for the volleyball team, the newly displayed banners serve as a reminder of the power of community support and the lasting impact it can have on students’ lives.
With the new banners proudly hanging in the gym, RCMS and its Sharks continue to thrive, thanks to the unwavering support of Taylor Morrison and VEA.
