The Pahrump Valley High School boys’ basketball game on Monday night, December 9, had more than just athletic excitement — the PVHS Garage band took the stage, bringing live music to halftime. Known as “Garage the Band” outside of school, the group delivered an electric performance of Panic! At The Disco’s “I Write Sins Not Tragedies,” captivating the audience and adding to the game-night energy.
The band comprises a talented lineup of PVHS students:
- Vocals: Addie Allen
- Drums: Luigi De Angelis
- Piano: Zachary LeBlanc
- Guitar: Emery Miller-Rocha
- Bass: Jeremy O’Neal
Playing together since just before the start of the school year, the group has quickly gained recognition for their vibrant stage presence and skilled musicianship. They made a splash earlier this year during the Fall PVHS band showcase on October 3, 2024, with a crowd-pleasing cover of Paramore’s “Misery Business.”
The halftime show on Monday night marked another highlight for Garage the Band, as their rendition of the alternative rock hit kept fans entertained and cheering. Their performance demonstrated not only their talent but also their versatility in tackling well-loved anthems.
Fans of the group won’t have to wait too long for more. Garage the Band is set to host a 15-song concert this coming spring, showcasing their expanding repertoire. With their growing popularity and undeniable talent, this concert is sure to be one of the most anticipated events of the year at PVHS.
Keep an eye on the PVHS calendar for details about the upcoming show, and don’t miss your chance to see this dynamic band in action!
