The spirit of community and creativity that filled the streets during the 59th Annual Pahrump Fall Festival Parade continued into the Pahrump Valley Partnership meeting on Thursday, October 30, where this year’s parade winners were officially recognized. Each honoree was celebrated for their outstanding contributions to one of Pahrump’s most cherished traditions.
Taking home Best in Theme was Nate Cardinal and the Nye County School District Maintenance Department, whose float perfectly captured the festival’s spirit while showcasing the department’s dedication and pride in the community. Their entry reflected teamwork and hometown pride, drawing enthusiastic applause from parade-goers.

The award for Most Original went to Sharon and Matt Saddler, whose creative entry impressed both judges and spectators. Their imaginative design and attention to detail stood out as a highlight of this year’s parade lineup, reminding everyone that originality and heart are at the core of local celebrations.

Best Overall honors were awarded to Aztec Secret, whose float combined artistry, enthusiasm, and presentation to create a truly memorable entry. Their performance embodied the essence of the Fall Festival—community connection, celebration, and joy.

Rounding out the honorees, Nevada Dance Center earned Best in Youth for their energetic and well-coordinated performance. The young dancers brought life and motion to the parade route, earning smiles from spectators of all ages and representing the next generation of Pahrump’s creative spirit.

The Pahrump Partnership’s recognition of these winners served as a fitting close to another successful Fall Festival season—celebrating not only the creativity behind each float but the shared sense of community that makes the event such a beloved local tradition.
