Danielle (Vernia) Juranty – Class of 2000

Danielle Juranty’s journey is a story of perseverance, compassion, and remarkable professional growth—one that has now led her to a new chapter as the Area Operations and Sales Manager for Grace Management Inc, a promotion she earned through years of dedication and hard work.

A 2000 graduate of Pahrump Valley High School, Danielle’s early adult life followed a promising path. She began working at a dermatologist’s office in Las Vegas while completing early college courses through Brigham Young University, allowing her to graduate with her high school class and get a jumpstart on her career. For several years, she worked in administrative roles, including as an assistant to the Vice President at Coors of Las Vegas and later as an office manager for a local drafting company. But life took a difficult turn during the economic downturn when the housing market crashed. Danielle and her then-husband lost their home, and the instability that followed led to a downward spiral. It was during those years that Danielle faced some of her darkest times, eventually battling addiction and enduring a series of personal setbacks that challenged everything she had built.

Despite the hardships, Danielle always maintained a strong work ethic and an innate desire to care for others. After taking time off to raise her youngest son, Zayne, she returned to the workforce with a renewed focus and sense of purpose. In 2016, she joined Inspirations Senior Living as the Business Office Manager. Her natural leadership abilities and deep compassion for the elderly community quickly stood out. Over the next few years, Danielle earned her residential facility administrator’s license through the state of Nevada, was promoted to Executive Director, and in 2023, became Senior Executive Director, overseeing operations while building a workplace culture rooted in respect and positivity.

At the heart of Danielle’s work is a fierce dedication to her residents. She becomes emotional when talking about them, describing them as her “other grandparents.” That bond became especially personal when her own grandfather moved into Inspirations. Being able to care for him until his passing, and to be there with him morning, noon, and night, was a profound experience she considers one of the greatest gifts of her life. For Danielle, the job has never been just about management—it’s about showing up for people, listening to their stories, and creating an environment where they feel seen, valued, and loved.

She is quick to differentiate Inspirations from the traditional idea of a nursing home. As an assisted living facility, it offers non-medical support that promotes independence while also providing services that many residents come to appreciate—meals, laundry, companionship, and assistance with daily living tasks. Some residents arrive completely independent, but soon realize the benefits of the community, often staying as their needs evolve. It’s that balance—supporting independence while offering help when needed—that defines Danielle’s vision of quality senior care.

Danielle’s leadership style is deeply influenced by her mentor and supervisor, Janessa Becker, who helped guide her through her professional development. Janessa, who originally filled the Executive Director role Danielle once applied for, became a trusted mentor and later a colleague, encouraging Danielle to grow into the position in her own time. That mentorship made a lasting impact and helped Danielle refine her leadership into a blend of directness, empathy, and grace.

Recently promoted to Area Operations and Sales Manager, Danielle will now support other communities in her region under Grace Management, the parent company of Inspirations. Though she will be traveling more and working with a broader network of communities, she still considers Inspirations her home base. Her biggest concern in accepting the promotion was losing day-to-day contact with the residents she cares so deeply about, but she’s comforted knowing she’ll now be able to form new connections with seniors across the region.

Danielle is also supported at home by a close-knit family. She recently married her husband Chris, describing him as a stabilizing and supportive force in her life. Between them, they have six children: Danielle’s children, Payden, Kenzie, and Zayne as well as Chris’s children, Christopher, Dominic and Madison. With her new position requiring more travel, Danielle has chosen to homeschool Zayne next year using a Christian-based curriculum, offering more flexibility and individualized attention for his education.

Danielle is candid about her past struggles, including her battle with addiction. She emphasizes that recovery wasn’t easy—and that she couldn’t have done it without the tough love and unwavering support of family and friends, including longtime friend Shannon, who encouraged her to keep moving forward even during the darkest times. Danielle joined Celebrate Recovery and began sharing her story publicly, eventually reaching nine years clean and finding a renewed sense of purpose in helping others.

That lived experience has made her more compassionate, more appreciative, and more grounded. She openly reflects on the mistakes of her past—not with regret for the journey, but with gratitude for the lessons learned and the strength gained. Her children, she says, are thriving, and she credits them as a constant source of motivation and strength.

Danielle’s journey—from early success to hardship and then to redemption and professional achievement—is proof that second chances, when met with hard work and support, can lead to incredible outcomes. Her story resonates with resilience, yes, but more than that, it reflects a life redefined by service, compassion, and leadership. In her new role, she’ll continue to do what she does best: building community, uplifting those around her, and bringing warmth and care to the people who need it most.
