Families with high school-aged girls interested in golf are invited to a special “Meet the Coach” event on Thursday, June 13, at 1 p.m. at the Mountain Falls Clubhouse. The event offers a chance to meet the new coaching staff for the Pahrump Valley High School girls golf team and learn more about the upcoming season.
The team is entering the season this fall with new leadership—Sierra McKillips has been named head coach, and Danielle Altiero will serve as assistant coach. Both are eager to welcome students of all skill levels, whether they are experienced golfers or have never held a club before.
“If you have a high school-aged daughter who may be interested in learning how to golf or what the golf program has to offer—like awesome scholarship opportunities—come chat with our coach and get info on our upcoming season,” said Assistant Coach Danielle Altiero. “We encourage all skill levels!”
The information session is designed for students and parents to learn more about the program, including how to join, what practices and competitions look like, and the potential for college scholarships through high school golf.
“No experience is needed,” Altiero added. “If your kiddo has never even picked up a golf club but is interested in trying something new or learning about the opportunities that golf can offer, we’d love for you to come by!”
Any student entering high school this fall or currently attending Pahrump Valley High School is welcome to attend, along with their parents or guardians. No RSVP is required.
The Mountain Falls Clubhouse is located at 5001 Clubhouse Dr. in Pahrump
