The Pahrump Valley High School Trojans finished their regular season in dominant fashion, overwhelming the Boulder City Eagles 55-20 at home on Thursday, October 24th. The Pahrump Valley High School Trojans girls’ soccer team’s season came to a disappointing end on October 28 in a hard-fought playoff match against the Virgin Valley Bulldogs, falling 3-1. The PVHS Trojans’ volleyball team finished their season on a high note, sweeping Somerset Losee 3-0 in a decisive win at home on Thursday, October 24. A new opportunity for students in Pahrump’s schools may be on the horizon, thanks to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada, which is set to propose a site-based mentoring program designed to support students across elementary, middle, and high schools in the area.
