Pahrump Valley wasted no time asserting control, jumping to an early lead in the first inning. Aidyn Cratty ignited the scoring with an RBI triple, followed by a run on a wild pitch. CJ Nelson added an RBI triple of his own, and Jack Walker capped off the inning with a two-run double to make it 5-0.
The Trojans tacked on another run in the second after a fielding error, extending their lead to 6-0 before delivering the knockout punch in the third. The bats came alive in a 12-run surge, featuring a string of clutch hits and disciplined plate appearances. Vinny Whitney and Tony Whitney each singled in a run, Cratty smashed a two-run double, and Kayne Horibe added an RBI single. The Trojans also capitalized on multiple bases-loaded walks and a groundout that brought home additional runs.

On the mound, Joseph Leftwich got the start and held Democracy Prep hitless through his one and one-third innings, allowing one run while striking out two. Aaron Rily stepped in for relief and continued the dominance, tossing one and two-thirds innings without allowing a run and striking out two.
The Trojans collected 13 hits in total, with Cratty and Tony Whitney leading the charge at three hits apiece. Cratty, Tony Whitney, and Walker each recorded two RBIs, while the team showed patience at the plate, drawing seven walks. Ben Cimperman and Andrew Zurn each worked two free passes. Aggressive baserunning also played a role, with the Trojans swiping seven stolen bases. Defensively, Pahrump Valley was sharp, playing an error-free game.
With this dominant win behind them, the Trojans now turn their focus to their next matchup against Mater Academy East Las Vegas on Wednesday.
