The Pahrump Theatre Company is preparing to transport audiences to a galaxy not so far away with its upcoming production of Macbeth—but with a bold and imaginative twist. Blending the timeless tragedy of William Shakespeare with the iconic universe of Star Wars, this reimagined performance promises a unique theatrical experience that brings together classic storytelling and sci-fi spectacle.

Set to take the stage at the Calvada Theater, the production reinterprets the rise and fall of Macbeth through a Star Wars-inspired lens, complete with Sith-like ambition, intergalactic power struggles, and a visual style that merges Shakespearean drama with futuristic elements. The creative approach offers a fresh way for audiences to engage with one of Shakespeare’s most well-known works while appealing to fans of both theater and science fiction.

Leading the cast is Nate Hollis in the title role of Macbeth, portraying the ambitious warrior whose hunger for power drives the story’s descent into darkness. Opposite him, Morningstarr Vella takes on the role of Lady Macbeth, bringing to life one of Shakespeare’s most complex and compelling characters. Oliver Jones appears as Macduff while also serving as the production’s director, guiding the vision of this ambitious crossover concept. LaJeanna Brooks steps into the role of Banquo, with Alex Lannin as Malcolm and Philip Bovee portraying King Duncan.

Supporting roles round out the galaxy-spanning cast, including Chase Moore as Ross, Mario Roman as Lennox, Nick Awai as Angus, and James White as Sey-10. Apollo Roman appears as Fleance while also taking on a second role as Jawa 1, with Mario Roman doubling as Jawa 2. Adding to the Star Wars-inspired atmosphere are characters such as Stormtroopers, played by Jacob Seeback and Lynden Steeno, and Nightsisters portrayed by Miranda Kaucky, Carrie Choquette, and Kyndahl McLeish.

Behind the scenes, a dedicated crew is bringing the production to life. Koreigh McLeish serves as Stage Manager, ensuring the show runs smoothly, while Christina Roman leads costume design, helping to fuse Shakespearean and Star Wars aesthetics. Karen Jones handles make-up, contributing to the transformation of performers into their otherworldly roles. Technical Director George Gholson, assisted by Mallory Barger, oversees the production’s technical elements, and Bob Flaherty’s set design helps create the immersive environment that anchors the story.

Performances are scheduled for May 22, 23, 28, 29, and 30 at 7 p.m., with additional matinee shows on May 24 and May 31 at 4 p.m. Tickets are priced at $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and veterans, and $10 for children, making the production accessible for families and theatergoers of all ages.

Taking place at the Calvada Theater, located at 1266 E. Calvada Blvd., Suite 1, the show offers a chance for the community to experience a creative fusion of two beloved worlds. Whether drawn by the power of Shakespeare’s storytelling or the allure of a Star Wars-inspired universe, audiences can expect a performance that is both familiar and refreshingly original.
