Families in the Pahrump community will soon have a valuable opportunity to gain insight, support, and guidance when it comes to navigating their child’s educational needs.
On Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m., the Pahrump IEP & 504 Breakthrough Session, presented by Wynn Advocacy, will take place at NyE Communities Coalition. The event is led by Stephanie Wynn, Master Advocate and Founder, along with her experienced team of education advocates and associates.
This hands-on workshop is designed specifically for parents and families who may feel uncertain about their child’s current IEP (Individualized Education Program) or 504 Plan. Through private “speed overview” sessions, families will have the chance to sit down one-on-one with professionals to better understand their child’s plan, identify any gaps, and gain clear direction on next steps.
Rather than leaving families overwhelmed, the goal of the session is to empower them—helping parents recognize when something doesn’t feel right and giving them the tools and confidence to advocate effectively for their child.
As part of the event, all registered families will receive a free IEP or 504 plan review, offering immediate, personalized feedback that can make a meaningful difference in a student’s educational experience.
In addition to the breakout sessions, the event will also highlight local special needs providers, helping connect families with services and resources that are greatly needed within the community.
The workshop is part of the broader Nye County Inclusion Summit, which focuses on bringing awareness, resources, and support to families of children with special needs. Organizers hope the event not only provides practical help, but also fosters a sense of unity and encouragement.
“This is where you take control back,” organizers emphasize, encouraging families to attend and be part of an uplifting, solutions-focused experience.

With expert guidance, valuable resources, and a supportive environment, the upcoming session aims to make a lasting impact—helping families feel informed, confident, and connected as they advocate for their children.
