It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Robert Keith Bolton Jr, who died on December 14th, 2024, at the age of 59. A visionary entrepreneur, dedicated father, and respected leader in the vineyard management industry, he leaves behind a legacy of hard work, passion, and a commitment to excellence.

Born on September 23rd, 1965, in Texas, Keith was always drawn to the beauty and challenge of the land. After years of learning the ins and outs of agriculture, he founded Bolton Vines, which quickly became a recognized leader in vineyard management. His business grew from humble beginnings to a thriving enterprise, known for its expertise in cultivating high-quality vineyards and building lasting relationships with clients in the wine industry. His hands-on approach, coupled with his knowledge of both the science and art of viticulture, earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues, clients, and peers.

Beyond his professional achievements, Keith was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He instilled in his children a strong sense of responsibility, the value of perseverance, and a deep appreciation for the natural world. His family was his pride, and he dedicated much of his time to supporting and guiding them. Whether in the vineyard or at home, he led by example, showing those around him the importance of passion, integrity, and humility.

Keith is survived by his beautiful wife and best friend whom he loved fiercely of 30 years, Joelle Bolton. “Cowboy Take Me Away” was a song they both cherished and often danced too. Keith and Joelle had one of those timeless, soul-deep connections. Their marriage serves as a reminder that the quiet moments, the loyalty, and the way they carried each other through the highs and lows of life were important and valued. It was the kind of love that made you believe in soulmates and in the idea that love can be both freeing and grounding.

Keith is survived by His children Ashley & Joshua Trail, Madison Knight & Brian, Austin & Zolie Bolton. Keith is survived by his grandchildren, Porsche, Sophia, Aiden, Kaidence and Liam and by his parents, Robert & Barbara Bolton and too many friends to mention! He is preceded by his mother June Bolton of Wagner Oklahoma, his grandparents Earl and Frances Herron and his sister Katy Miller. His legacy of business acumen, love for the land, and dedication to family will continue to inspire all who knew him.

A celebration of his life will be held at Charleston Peak Winery 3810 E Winery Rd, Pahrump, NV 89048 on January 4th, 2025, beginning at 12 noon.

While his presence will be deeply missed, his impact on the world of vineyard management and his family’s lives will never be forgotten.

*Obituary written by Keith’s daughter, Ashley Trail
