Two Pahrump Valley High School students are preparing for an exciting opportunity this summer, and the community is coming together to help make it happen.
PVHS Theatre Troupe 4576 members Zachary LeBlanc and Addie Allen have earned the opportunity to attend the 2025-2026 International Thespian Festival (ITF), set to take place this summer in Bloomington, Indiana at Indiana University. The prestigious event is considered one of the premier experiences available to high school theater students from across the country.

LeBlanc and Allen qualified after their duet performance ranked among the top 15 percent in the region, a recognition that highlights the dedication and talent both students have brought to the PVHS theater program.
To help offset travel and participation costs, the troupe is hosting a community fundraiser on Saturday, May 17, at VFW Post 10054 in Pahrump. The VFW has partnered with the troupe by dedicating one of its public Sunday breakfast fundraisers to support the students’ trip.
The breakfast will run from 8 to 11 a.m. at 4651 Homestead Road and is open to the public. Guests can enjoy affordable, cooked-to-order breakfast favorites including eggs, bacon or sausage, hash browns, pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, and specialty options like the Tex-Mex Breakfast Platter.

According to organizers, both students are working toward a fundraising goal of approximately $4,000 to cover expenses associated with attending the festival.
Supporters say the opportunity is not only a chance for the students to continue developing their theatrical skills, but also a chance to represent Pahrump and PVHS on a national stage.
“We are so fortunate to have students like Zachary and Addie to represent Theatre Troupe 4576 here at Pahrump Valley High School,” organizers shared in the fundraiser announcement. “Let’s make this happen for kids that work incredibly hard to represent the community so well.”
Community members who would like to support the students are encouraged to attend the breakfast fundraiser or donate directly to help send the pair to ITF this summer.
