The Pahrump Valley High School (PVHS) Tennis Team, fresh off a successful season, is reaching out to local businesses and community members to help support their upcoming fundraising raffle. Head Coach Michael Dela Rosa, now in his fifth year leading the team, is organizing this initiative to fund much-needed equipment and resources for the team, including warm-up jerseys, a tennis ball machine, and other essential supplies.

“This year’s success has highlighted areas where we can grow, and with the community’s support, we can ensure our players have the tools they need to thrive,” said Coach Dela Rosa.

The team is accepting donations for raffle prizes until November 21, 2024. Businesses can contribute a variety of items, such as gift cards, cash, free services, or products like a massage session, oil changes, food baskets, or meal vouchers. In return, PVHS Tennis is offering sponsorship opportunities, including displaying business names on team warm-up clothing and banners as a gesture of appreciation.

Raffle tickets will go on sale starting November 23 and will be available until the drawing date, December 13, 2024, at 4 p.m. The drawing will be recorded and shared on Coach Dela Rosa’s YouTube channel, Michael DelaRosa@michaeldelarosa6890.

Donors will also receive a tax donation letter, if applicable, to acknowledge their contribution. “Supporting our team not only helps us grow but also showcases the strong connection between our school and our community,” added Dela Rosa.

To participate or donate, contact Coach Dela Rosa directly at 775-910-9017 or email mdelarosa@nyeschools.org. Your generosity will play a pivotal role in the continued success of PVHS Tennis, while also highlighting your business as a valued community partner.
