Job seekers in Pahrump will soon have an opportunity to connect directly with employers during the upcoming EmployNV @ NyECC Job Fairs, a two-day hiring event hosted by the NyE Communities Coalition (NyECC).

The event is scheduled to take place at the NyECC Activity Center (NAC), located at 1020 E. Wilson Road in Pahrump, and will feature employers conducting on-the-spot interviews with potential candidates.

The first job fair session will be held Tuesday, May 26, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by a second session on Wednesday, May 27, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Organizers say the event is designed to help connect local residents with employment opportunities while also providing resources to help applicants feel prepared and confident before meeting with employers.

“Ready for your next big career move?” organizers shared in promotional materials for the event. “Whether you’re looking for a fresh start or a step up, we’ve got you covered with a massive two-day event.”

Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally, bring multiple copies of their resumes and be prepared to interview during the event.

In addition to meeting with employers, job seekers can also take advantage of NyECC’s Resource Room, which is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for resume assistance and updates ahead of the fair.

The event aims to provide more than just networking opportunities by giving participants direct access to hiring employers and tools to improve their chances of success in the job market.

For additional information, community members can contact Tiara Ellison at 775-727-9970 ext. 218 or by email at tellison@employnvcareerhub.org.
