The Nye County School District is inviting families to gear up for a successful school year at the 2025 Back to School Fair, taking place Saturday, July 26, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Pahrump Valley High School.

The annual event is free for students and aims to ensure that children across the county are prepared for the first day of school with the essential items and services they need. From brand-new backpacks to vital health screenings, the fair offers a wide range of resources designed to support students and ease the financial burden on families.

Among the giveaways available—while supplies last—are backpacks filled with school supplies, as well as car seats for those in need. In addition, sports physicals will be offered on-site for student-athletes planning to participate in school athletics. Families are reminded to bring all necessary paperwork for physicals to be completed.

To receive any of the items or services provided at the fair, students must be present at the event.

The district encourages all families with school-aged children to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to prepare for the upcoming academic year. With the start of school just around the corner, the Back to School Fair is a one-stop shop for getting ready to return to the classroom.
