Charleston Peak Winery in Pahrump has unveiled a new way for wine lovers to experience the flavors of Nevada’s high desert. On August 19, the winery announced the launch of its signature wine club, “Wine Societies,” now open for enrollment. The program offers four distinct membership options, each carefully curated to match different tastes while providing access to exclusive events and year-round perks.
Each society is built around a unique style of wine. The Moon Society highlights sweet-leaning selections, from crisp whites and fruit-forward rosés to smooth, velvety reds. For those who enjoy variety, the Peak Society features a mix of local Nevada wines, offering something for every palate. The Red Society focuses exclusively on bold, complex reds, while the White Society showcases bright whites and elegant rosés.
Membership comes with significant benefits. Participants receive 20 percent savings on club shipments and wine purchases throughout the year, plus 10 percent off food and merchandise. Members also enjoy early access to new releases, invitations to harvest celebrations and other exclusive gatherings, and four complimentary tastings each month. Each membership also includes four guest passes annually, which can be used with or without the member present.
Formerly known as Pahrump Valley Winery, Charleston Peak Winery has been reimagined under new ownership, with winemaker Steven Bowen leading the creation of a fresh portfolio of locally crafted wines. Nestled at the base of Charleston Peak, the winery spans nine acres of desert landscape and continues to build on a legacy that began with its founding in 1989. Through a partnership with vineyard management company Bolton Vines, led by Austin Bolton, the winery has developed high-desert varietals including Symphony White, White Zinfandel Rosé, and Amargosa Red Blend. Charleston Peak Winery also holds the distinction of being the first in Nevada to produce sparkling wine from locally grown grapes.
Visitors can enjoy guided tastings in the 1,450-square-foot tasting room or on the patio, which offers sweeping mountain views. Light fare, provided by Las Vegas’ award-winning AMARI Italian Kitchen & Wine Shop, complements the wine experience. Charleston Peak Winery is open from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Monday.
