The Hall of Fame at Pahrump Valley High School began as a vision brought to life by Athletic Director and football coach Brian Hug. Having seen the success of a Hall of Fame at a previous school, Hug wanted to bring the same spirit to Pahrump Valley. The PVHS Girls’ Volleyball team had a week full of intense competition, showcasing their skills on the court. It all started on Thursday, September 26, 2024, when the Trojans faced off against Somerset Academy Losee. In a grueling five-set match, Pahrump emerged victorious with scores of 25-15, 21-25, 24-26, 25-23, and a thrilling 17-15 final set. The Pahrump Valley High School (PVHS) Trojans football team showcased an outstanding performance in their game against Mater Academy East Las Vegas on Friday, September 27. The Trojans dominated both offensively and defensively, leading to a commanding victory. Offensive coordinator Toby Henry had set a goal of 250 rushing yards for the game, but the team far exceeded that, rushing for nearly 500 yards. The arts and crafts community in Pahrump continues to thrive, thanks in large part to the efforts of two dedicated women: Randi Case and Ashley Welch. Together, they’ve built and sustained some of the town’s most cherished arts and crafts events, fostering creativity while giving back to the community.
