Tucked away in the center of Pahrump, Rustic Daisy Floral is more than just a flower shop; it’s a labor of love, dedication, and creativity, all brought to life by its owner, Terae Parry. After spending over 40 years in the floral industry, Terae has transformed her passion into a thriving local business that offers a wide array of floral services, each carefully crafted to meet the unique needs of her customers.

Terae’s journey into the world of flowers began decades ago in California, where she honed her skills in event work across the bustling districts of Wilshire, Los Angeles, and San Fernando. However, life led her to Las Vegas, where she continued her career by working with event companies, wholesalers, and various flower shops and served as the manager of the floral department at Albertsons. Eventually, she moved to Pahrump where she assisted in the floral department at Albertsons, a position that further solidified her expertise. Now, as she nears retirement, Rustic Daisy Floral represents Terae’s vision for her future—a business that is both her passion and her retirement fund.

The name “Rustic Daisy Floral” was born out of Terae’s love for antiques and her favorite flowers, including daisies, sunflowers, and lilies. This personal touch is just one way that Terae infuses her character into her work. The shop, located at 681 West Street, is a reflection of her creative spirit, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere where customers can find everything from simple bouquets to full-scale event coordination.

“Customer service is very important to me. I want it to feel homey,” Terae explains. This commitment to personalized service is what sets Rustic Daisy Floral apart from other florists in the area. Terae prides herself on the variety and quality of her offerings, ensuring that whether a customer wants to spend a little or a lot, they will receive something special. “If you want to spend high dollar, I’ll make you high dollar, but if you just want to send a single flower, I got you,” she says, emphasizing her dedication to meeting all customer needs.

Running a floral business comes with its challenges, particularly when it comes to the rising costs of supplies. However, Terae’s experience in the industry has taught her how to manage these difficulties without compromising on quality. She sources her flowers from trusted growers she’s worked with for years, ensuring that every bouquet is fresh and beautiful.

In addition to traditional floral arrangements, Rustic Daisy Floral offers a wide range of services, including weddings, anniversaries, event coordination, and custom designs. Terae is also expanding her offerings to include boutonnières and corsages for school events, a service that has become increasingly popular among local students.

“I offer delivery, weddings, anniversaries, I build props… I can do everything pretty much,” Terae says, highlighting the versatility of her business. Her commitment to the community is evident in her efforts to give back, whether it’s by donating flowers to local organizations or by bringing smiles to the residents at Inspirations Senior Living.

Looking to the future, Terae is excited about the potential for growth. She plans to introduce floral design courses, where community members can learn how to create their own arrangements. She’s also considering partnerships with other local businesses, like collaborating on a “sip and arrange” event, combining floral design with a fun, social atmosphere.

When asked what advice she would give to aspiring entrepreneurs, Terae says, “Stay strong and believe in yourself. If you have it inside you, it’s going to work if you want it to work.” Her words reflect the resilience and determination that have driven her success.

For Terae, Rustic Daisy Floral is more than just a business; it’s a way to bring joy to her community. “I deliver smiles,” she says, a simple yet profound statement that captures the heart of her work. As she continues to grow her business, Terae remains committed to providing beautiful, high-quality floral arrangements that brighten the lives of those around her.

To reach Terae, you can visit the shop at 681 West St Unit B or give her a call at 📞 702-505-5316.
