This Sunday, December 22, 2024, families in Pahrump are invited to experience the magic of the holiday season at Winter Wonder Slam 2024, the town’s premier free winter event. The celebration will take place at McCullough Rodeo Arena behind Petrack Park, kicking off at 1:00 PM. The event promises a day filled with joy, entertainment, and holiday cheer for all ages.

Now in its second year, Winter Wonder Slam is a community-centered event made possible through the efforts of local pro wrestler Sinn Bodhi, alongside Matt and Sharon Sadler of A Hope Bail Bonds, Will DJ Soundz, and Koolsville Tattoos. Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and organizations, the event remains entirely free to the public. The Arena Board and Nye County Commissioners have stepped up to donate the use of the rodeo arena, ensuring the event can take place in a welcoming and spacious venue.

This year’s Winter Wonder Slam is designed to celebrate Nye County’s children while giving families an unforgettable afternoon of holiday fun. Attendees can expect a variety of free activities and giveaways, including free toys for kids, free Christmas stockings filled with treats, and a free visit with Santa for the perfect holiday photo opportunity. Adults and kids alike will enjoy free lunch and treats provided at the concession stand, ensuring that no one leaves hungry.

The highlight of the day will be the free professional wrestling show, featuring athletes from Las Vegas, Mexico, Arizona, California, and Colorado. These talented wrestlers are donating their time and skills to put on a world-class performance for the Pahrump community. Event organizers encourage families to arrive early, as doors open at 1:00 PM, and a large crowd is expected. “Our goal is smiling kids, smiling adults, and smiling entertainers who love what they do for a living,” shared Matt Sadler, one of the coordinators.

Winter Wonder Slam would not be possible without the support of sponsors such as Sinn Bodhi, A Hope Bail Bonds, Koolsville Tattoos, and DJ Soundz, along with many local businesses and volunteers who have contributed their time, resources, and energy to ensure the event’s success. Their commitment to the community helps make Winter Wonder Slam a cherished tradition in Nye County.

This free family event is a perfect way to celebrate the holiday season while bringing the community together. Mark your calendars, gather the family, and don’t miss this exciting afternoon of holiday festivities and professional wrestling action. For more information or to inquire about sponsorship opportunities, contact Matt Sadler at 775-382-2516. Let’s make this holiday season one to remember for Nye County’s kids and families. See you there!
