The Pahrump Valley High School Trojans boys’ tennis team delivered a strong performance in the Regional Quarterfinals on Tuesday, October 7, defeating Virgin Valley 11–7 on their home courts. The victory was fueled by dominant doubles play, where both Trojan pairs swept their matches to secure six crucial wins.

The duos of Juan Rodriguez and Sonny Skinner, along with Ethan Johnson and Nick Watson, each went 3–0, giving the Trojans an early edge in the overall score. In singles competition, Ethan Johnson and Bryce Dykstra each earned two victories, while Jace Eichner added another win to round out the team’s total.

The balanced effort across the roster reflected the Trojans’ depth and determination as they continue their postseason run.

The boys will move on to the next round on Thursday, October 9, where they will face their next opponent at the Whitney Ranch Park tennis courts in Henderson. The match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.

This portion of the Regional competition is for team qualification, allowing entire squads to advance based on overall match performance. Next week, the focus shifts to individual matchups, where players will compete for personal standings within the region. The individual schedule will be shared soon.
