Tickets are now on sale for the 2026 Annual Crab Fest, a fundraising event benefiting ACORN, a local nonprofit that advocates for foster children involved in the court system.

The event will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the Nye Communities Coalition, located at 1020 E. Wilson Rd. in Pahrump. Doors will open at 5 p.m., with dinner served at 6 p.m. Attendance is limited to 200 tickets.

Tickets are priced at $100 each, the same cost as last year. The evening will feature an all-you-can-eat Dungeness crab dinner, with chicken available for guests who prefer a non-seafood option. Sides and desserts are included. The night will also include raffles, a silent auction, and a live auction. Nye County District Attorney Brian Kunzi will return as host and will once again serve the crab.

Proceeds from Crab Fest support ACORN’s work advocating for foster children in the court system. Organizers note that community support through ticket sales, sponsorships, and donations plays a key role in keeping the program operating.

Several sponsorship opportunities are available for individuals and businesses looking to support the event at a higher level. The Captain’s Table sponsorship is priced at $1,250 and includes 10 tickets with a reserved table for 10 guests, a full-page advertisement in the event program measuring 5.5 inches wide by 8.5 inches long, and recognition in all event promotions.

The Pirate’s Table sponsorship is available for $625 and includes five tickets with a reserved table for five guests, a half-page advertisement in the event program measuring 5.5 inches wide by 4.25 inches long, and mentions in all event promotions.

Organizers are also accepting donations for raffle baskets, silent auction items, live auction items, and monetary contributions. Sponsorship forms and donation information are available for those interested in supporting the event in these ways.

In addition to Crab Fest tickets, raffle tickets are available for a chance to win a one-week vacation in Princeville, Kaua‘i, at the Ali’i Kai Resort, an RCI Gold Crown Resort. The grand prize includes the vacation plus $1,500 in cash to be used toward airfare, transportation, activities, or other expenses. The second-place prize includes a handmade Hawaiian quilt and $500 in cash. Raffle tickets cost $75 each and are limited to 350 tickets. The drawing will take place during Crab Fest on February 7. Funds raised through the raffle will help offset the loss of grant funding.

Those interested in purchasing tickets, becoming a sponsor, or donating items are encouraged to contact ACORN directly by phone or email, or to stop by the organization’s new location, 621 S. Blagg Rd. Organizers also encourage community members to share information about the event with friends and family.

Organizers expressed appreciation for the continued support of the community and said they look forward to another successful event benefiting local foster children.
