The Rosemary Clarke Middle School boys and girls basketball B teams welcomed The Meadows to campus for a spirited evening of hoops that showcased energy, teamwork, and continued growth across both programs.

The night opened with a special pregame moment as the Pahrump Valley Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol presented the colors, followed by a moving national anthem performed by Avery Sampson, setting a respectful and enthusiastic tone for the games that followed.

The RCMS girls B team came out aggressive and confident from the opening tip. Gianna Domingo got the scoring started, finishing in transition before converting another layup after a long pass up the floor. Aaliyah Palmore added to the early surge with a strong finish in the paint as RCMS jumped out to an 8–0 lead midway through the first quarter. Defensive intensity fueled the momentum, with Domingo forcing a jump ball late in the quarter and the Sharks closing the period ahead 10–0 after another basket inside.

Rosemary Clarke continued to apply pressure in the second quarter, holding Meadows to just one basket while extending the lead. Inaya Garcia capitalized on full-court pressure with a layup, Remi Saldaña added to the scoring, and the Sharks carried an 18–2 advantage into halftime. The third quarter featured a string of defensive plays, including steals by Esmeralda Hull, Karah Sheppard, and Palmore, who converted her takeaway into an open layup to make it 20–2. In the final quarter, Palmore banked in a shot early, and Hull capped the scoring with a basket from the middle of the paint in the closing minute. The girls closed out a strong team performance with a 24–4 victory.

The RCMS boys B team faced a tough Meadows squad and battled from start to finish. Paul Clouser opened the scoring for Rosemary Clarke with a basket in the paint, followed by Kian Cruz scoring from just outside the left block as the Sharks took an early 4–0 lead while playing man-to-man defense. Meadows answered to take a narrow advantage late in the first quarter, but RCMS stayed composed. Kayden Leseberg came up with a steal late in the period, and Tom Lopez scored off an inbound play after drawing contact, keeping the game within reach.

In the second quarter, Lopez continued to be active on both ends, forcing a jump ball, grabbing multiple rebounds, and getting to the free-throw line. Leseberg added a layup, and the Sharks finished the half competing through pressure and traps, trailing 18–9 at the break. The second half tested RCMS against full-court pressure, but the team continued to fight. Lopez scored again, Ozias “Ozzy” Osfer attacked the basket to draw a foul, and Conner Nelsen added a free throw in the closing seconds. Despite the final score of 41–14, the Sharks showed resilience, effort, and flashes of strong execution against a challenging opponent.

Both RCMS B teams displayed positive energy, defensive hustle, and developing confidence as they continue their seasons, with valuable experience gained on the court against Meadows.
