The Pahrump Valley High School (PVHS) Football team held their much-anticipated annual Spaghetti Dinner and Cake Auction on Saturday, August 3, at the PVHS cafeteria. The event was a resounding success, showcasing the unwavering support and generosity of the Pahrump community, culminating in an impressive fundraising total of $19,360.

The atmosphere in the cafeteria was filled with camaraderie and excitement as attendees gathered to enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner and participate in the lively cake auction. This annual event not only raises essential funds for the football program but also strengthens the bond between the school and the local community.

“We are continually humbled and could never show enough gratitude to the support the Pahrump community continues to give to our program,” expressed the PVHS Football team Head Coach Thomas Walker. The heartfelt appreciation extended to everyone who contributed to the event’s success, highlighting the collaborative effort that makes this fundraiser possible each year.

Special thanks were directed towards Ski and his crew for expertly running the dessert auction, ensuring the evening’s highlight was a grand success. Additionally, Leo Blundo and Carmelo’s received accolades for cooking all the food, delivering a feast that delighted all attendees. The community spirit was further exemplified by Pink Box Donuts, which generously donated 17 dozen donuts and sent Joseph to represent them at the event.

The funds raised will directly benefit the PVHS Football program, providing necessary resources and opportunities for the student-athletes. The team and organizers are already looking forward to next year’s event, with the hope of surpassing this year’s achievements.

The annual Spaghetti Dinner and Cake Auction not only serves as a fundraiser but also as a testament to the power of community support. The PVHS Football team extends their deepest gratitude to everyone involved and looks forward to continued success and community involvement in the years to come.
