Pahrump Valley High School Football Head Coach Thomas Walker was named the Las Vegas Raiders Tom Flores High School Coach of the Week following the Trojans’ impressive victory over Mater East on September 27, 2024. This recognition, part of a program designed to honor high school coaches who have made a positive impact both on and off the field, highlights Coach Walker’s dedication and success in leading the PVHS football program.
As a recipient of this award, the Las Vegas Raiders and the NFL Foundation will provide a $1,000 donation to the PVHS football program, giving the Trojans additional resources to maintain and grow their efforts on the field.
On Wednesday, October 9, Coach Walker and the team celebrated this achievement, enjoying a post-practice meal courtesy of the Raiders. The celebration included a generous offer from Buffalo Wild Wings, who provided the meal of chicken wings for the entire team.
Coach Walker’s recognition was announced on Raider Nation Radio 920AM, where he was invited for an interview to share his insights about his team’s journey and his coaching philosophy.
