During the final home football game of the season on October 24, 2024, the Pahrump Valley High School (PVHS) Trojans took a moment to honor the seniors from fall sports, including the girls golf, cheer and dance teams in a heartfelt halftime ceremony. The event, which took place under the Friday night lights, celebrated the hard work, dedication, and school spirit these athletes have shown throughout their high school careers.

On the Girls’ Golf team, Aliana Zuniga was recognized for her four years playing on the team as well as her accomplishments on the team, qualifying for State all four years.

On the Cheer team, seniors Emma Lowes, Shyenne Oshiro, and Aiya Woods were recognized for their commitment to school spirit. Whether they have cheered for multiple years or this is their first season, these athletes have energized the crowd at football games and other events, bringing enthusiasm and pride to the Trojans community. Their efforts helped build unity not only on the sidelines but within the PVHS student body.

The Dance team honored its seniors, including Charlotte Ballantine, Madelynn Boruchowitz, Tailey Hastings, Mayaeli Shaw-Ayala, and Analise Veloz. These dancers have played a pivotal role in the team’s performances, elevating school spirit with their precision, energy, and creativity. Through pep rallies, sideline performances, and halftime shows, these dancers have left a lasting impression on the PVHS community.

As each senior was introduced during the ceremony, they were escorted by family members, cheered on by teammates and the crowd, and greeted by coaches who joined them on the field. The celebration from the stands, as the crowd showed their appreciation for the athletes’ dedication, was as enthusiastic as it was during the game.

While the regular fall season comes to a close, the spirit and contributions of these seniors will be remembered as they move forward. Whether they pursue golf, cheer, dance, or new adventures beyond high school, they leave behind a proud legacy of teamwork, talent, and Trojan pride.
