The Pahrump Valley High School cheer and yearbook programs are teaming up to host a spirited fundraiser with a meaningful cause—this year’s Powder Puff Game. The event will take place on Thursday, November 20, at 5:00 p.m. on the PVHS football field, promising an evening of friendly competition and school pride.
Tickets are $5 for general admission or $20 with a commemorative event T-shirt, with all proceeds being shared between the Unite for HER cancer foundation and the PVHS cheer and yearbook programs.
In this fun twist on tradition, girls from the school’s fall sports teams will face off in a flag football game, while boys will take on the role of cheerleaders, providing plenty of entertainment for the crowd.
The event also aims to raise awareness for breast cancer, uniting students, families, and the community for a cause that touches many lives. Donations will be accepted both in person—via cash or business checks—and online through the event’s QR code.
Spectators are encouraged to come out, wear pink, and cheer on their classmates for an evening of laughter, school spirit, and giving back.
