Pahrump’s young golfers have an exciting new opportunity to develop their skills and compete, thanks to the Pahrump Junior Golf Association (PJGA) at Mountain Falls Golf Club. Under the leadership of David Wilson and Tori Peers, the organization is offering a range of programs tailored to junior golfers of all skill levels.

A Comprehensive Approach to Junior Golf

The new PJGA program provides multiple training options, clinics, and tournaments designed to introduce children to the sport, refine their skills, and encourage competition in a supportive environment.

🏌️‍♂️ Individual and Small Group Training

For juniors looking for personalized instruction, PJGA offers individual and small group training sessions. With only 2-3 players per session, young golfers receive focused attention on fundamental skills and technique.

    • When: Thursdays and Saturdays (by appointment)
    • Cost: $40 per hour

    ⛳️ Junior Golf Clinics

These 2-hour clinics cover essential aspects of golf, including rules, etiquette, putting, chipping, and ball-striking. Open to all skill levels, they provide a great opportunity for young golfers to build confidence and improve their game.

    • Upcoming Dates:
      • Monday, February 17 (1:00-3:00 PM)
      • Monday, March 10 & 11 (2:00-4:00 PM)
      • April 21 & 22 (2:00-4:00 PM)
      • May 17 (2:00-4:00 PM)
    • Cost: $25 per session

    🏆 Tournament Events

For those ready to compete, PJGA is hosting monthly tournaments throughout the school year and weekly tournaments every Saturday during summer. These events take place at Lakeview Golf Club, providing young players with valuable competition experience.

    • Entry Fee: $3 (must be registered with Youth On Course)
    • Tournament Dates:
      • Saturday, February 22
      • Saturday, March 29
      • Saturday, April 26
      • Saturday, May 31

    💛 PJGA Gold Membership

For families looking for year-round benefits, the Gold Membership offers 50% off training and clinics (excluding tournaments).

    • Cost: $200 per year

    How to Join

Parents and junior golfers interested in signing up can contact PJGA via email at pvjuniorgolf@gmail.com or reach out on Facebook and Instagram. With a mix of training, competition, and fun, the Pahrump Junior Golf Association is eager to help the next generation of golfers develop their skills and passion for the game.
