Nye County Sheriff’s Office Launches Online Services for CCW Permits and More

The Nye County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) has officially launched a new online system to streamline the application process for Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) permits. In partnership with Permitium, LLC, a software company specializing in web-based law enforcement services, the Sheriff’s Office now offers a modernized system that allows applicants to submit and manage their CCW applications online.

Through this new system, applicants can complete their application, schedule an appointment, upload required documents, submit photo identification, and make payments—all from the convenience of their home. By enabling applicants to provide information and pay in advance, the process is expected to reduce appointment times and allow staff to begin background checks earlier, ultimately shortening the wait time for permit approvals.

For those interested in applying for or renewing their CCW permit, the new online system is available at: https://nyenv.permitium.com/ccw/start.

In addition to CCW permits, the Nye County Sheriff’s Office has expanded its online services to include applications for Liquor Work Cards, Fingerprint Cards, and Brothel Work Cards. The updated system also allows residents to schedule appointments for all other fingerprinting services. The full list of services can be accessed at: https://nyenv.permitium.com/fingerprint/start.

This initiative is part of the Nye County Sheriff’s Office’s ongoing commitment to improving public service efficiency. By embracing technology and modernizing operations, the department aims to enhance accessibility and convenience for Nye County residents.
