The Pahrump Valley High School Lady Trojans tennis team delivered a determined effort in the Regional Semifinals on Wednesday, October 8, at home against Moapa Valley, finishing 7–11 after a series of close and competitive matches.

In singles play, Nyomi Skinner and Chanel Anthony each earned two wins, helping to keep the Lady Trojans within reach throughout the contest. Newcomer Aurora Bowers added another point with a solid performance in her first postseason appearance.

In doubles, the pairing of Layla Brunell and Milly Khandpur led the team with two victories, while newer doubles teams—Ally Amador and Elise Eichner, Lily Gregory and Wendy Rodriguez, Jane Aston and Melynda Scheer, and Lily Gregory and Sarah Miller—continued to develop their coordination and gain valuable match experience that will serve them well in future seasons.

While the team will not advance further in the Regional tournament, players still have an opportunity to compete next week in the individual rounds, where athletes can qualify as singles or doubles competitors. The individual schedule will be announced soon.
