An evening of entertainment, community support and fundraising is planned for Friday, Sept. 4, as Ms. Senior Gold Years USA hosts a First Friday Fundraiser at Artesian Cellars in Pahrump.
The event will begin at 6 p.m. and will bring community members together for a night featuring a live auction, 50-50 drawing, prize drawings, entertainment and gift baskets, all while raising money for two organizations serving individuals and families in need.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit The Salvation Army and Advocates for Children of Rural Nevada, also known as ACORN.
Organizers are inviting the community to come out, enjoy the evening and help support the work performed by both organizations. The Salvation Army provides a variety of assistance to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances, while ACORN works to advocate for and support children throughout rural Nevada.
Gift baskets will be among the featured attractions during the fundraiser, and organizers are still seeking basket donations from local businesses, organizations and community members who would like to contribute to the event.

Basket donations will help provide additional opportunities for guests to participate in the evening’s fundraising efforts while supporting the two benefiting organizations.
Along with the drawings and gift baskets, attendees can look forward to a live auction and entertainment throughout the evening. A 50-50 drawing will offer another opportunity to participate while contributing to the fundraiser.
The First Friday Fundraiser will be held Friday, Sept. 4, beginning at 6 p.m. at Artesian Cellars, 1731 Highway 160 in Pahrump.
