The Pahrump Valley High School boys golf team closed out its regular season league play on a strong note Wednesday, April 22, turning in a solid performance at Coyote Springs Golf Club in Moapa as they prepare for the postseason.
Competing in the final league match before Regionals, the Trojans finished second overall with a team score of 357, trailing only Virgin Valley, which took the top spot with a 334. Boulder City placed third, followed by Moapa Valley in fourth, while individual golfers from Civica, Coral Academy and The Meadows also competed in the 30-player field.
Leading the way for Pahrump Valley was Aaron Rily, who paced the Trojans with an 85 (+13) to tie for fourth overall (listed first among those tied). Rily’s round set the tone for a consistent team effort across the lineup.

TC Hone followed with an 89, finishing eighth overall, while Cayden Cowley added a 91 to tie for ninth (also listed first among those tied). Travis Floyd carded a 92 to take 11th, just ahead of Brody Myers, who finished 12th with a 93. Samson Wagner rounded out the scoring for the Trojans, placing 18th overall with a 101.

With all six golfers contributing steady rounds, the Trojans showed depth and consistency—key ingredients as they now shift their focus to the most important stretch of the season.
The league match marked the final tune-up before the Class 3A Southern Region Tournament, set for May 6 and 7 at Mountain Falls Golf Club in Pahrump. With momentum on their side and home course advantage ahead, the Trojans will look to build on this performance as they aim for a strong showing at regionals.
