Head Coach Frank Lopez was pleased with the team’s efforts and the progress shown across the board. “The weekend went well. Oscar won the Bonanza Round Up and is wrestling at the highest level I’ve ever seen him at. Payton Weaver is a hammer and really hitting her stride. That goes for our whole team, though. Our entire room had an uptick in pace and toughness last week. Boys and girls are both showing up every day and working extremely hard. It’s very refreshing to see the output of effort driven by want and desire. As a whole, we are on an upward trend at the right time.”
The Pahrump Valley wrestlers are gaining momentum as they gear up for the postseason, demonstrating their dedication and readiness to compete at a high level. The weekend’s performances reflect the team’s hard work and determination to achieve their goals.
