Community members will have an opportunity to enjoy a meal while supporting Pahrump Valley High School football as the Trojans host their annual Spaghetti Dinner and Dessert Auction on Saturday, Aug. 1, with dinner beginning at 5 p.m. and the dessert auction at 6 p.m. in the Pahrump Valley High School cafeteria.
The longtime fundraiser brings together players, families and supporters for an evening of food, fellowship and friendly bidding, with all proceeds directly benefiting the PVHS football program.
Dinner tickets are $10 each and may be purchased in advance from any Pahrump Valley High School football player or at the door on the night of the event. Guests should enter the cafeteria from the back of the home bleachers.
Funds raised during the event will help offset a variety of expenses throughout the upcoming football season, including the purchase of equipment and uniforms, as well as travel costs for one of the team’s biggest trips of the year. The Trojans are scheduled to compete in the California Classic Interstate High School Football Event, hosted at San Juan Hills High School in San Juan Capistrano, California, providing the program with the opportunity to face out-of-state competition while representing Pahrump.
One of the evening’s highlights will once again be the popular dessert auction, where homemade treats and specialty desserts are auctioned off to attendees. The program is currently accepting donations of desserts to be included in either the live auction or raffle. Community members who enjoy baking are encouraged to contribute cakes, pies, cookies or other desserts to help maximize the fundraiser’s success.
The annual dinner has become a tradition for the Trojan football program, giving players a chance to connect with the community while raising funds that help provide resources beyond what is covered through the school’s athletic budget. Community support through events like the spaghetti dinner helps ensure athletes have the equipment, uniforms and travel opportunities needed throughout the season.
Residents looking to support the Trojans while enjoying a family-friendly evening are encouraged to attend, purchase tickets from a team member or simply stop by the cafeteria on Aug. 1. Every meal purchased and every bid placed during the dessert auction will help support the Pahrump Valley High School football program as it prepares for the 2026 season.
