    Senior Spotlight: Serenity Lewis

    As Serenity Lewis reflects on her high school journey, she treasures the bonds she formed and the experiences she embraced along the way. “The most memorable moments I have had are genuinely making the bonds I did,” she shared. Serenity credits her friends with making high school fun and memorable, whether it was attending school dances or simply cherishing every moment she had.

    Serenity was actively involved in PVHS cheer before transitioning to homeschooling. This experience had a profound impact on her high school years. “Cheer definitely shaped bonds and lovely memories. I loved being able to cheer on our sports teams, showing love to the school, and overall just being happy,” Serenity explained.

    One of Serenity’s proudest achievements during her time in high school was her dedication to maintaining good grades while attending school daily. She acknowledges that it wasn’t always easy, but she is proud of her commitment to her education.

    As Serenity approaches graduation, she admits that the prospect of growing up and moving on is daunting. “I am personally not ready to graduate. It’s scary growing up and having to leave everything behind,” she confessed. However, she is determined to pursue her nursing degree in college, setting her sights on a future in healthcare.

    When asked for advice to underclassmen, Serenity emphasized the importance of savoring every moment of high school. “Hold on to what you have. Enjoy your time, and experience everything there is. The time goes by fast and it’s over before you know it,” she advised.

    Serenity’s journey through high school has been shaped by the friendships she made, the challenges she overcame, and the memories she created. As she prepares for the next chapter of her life, she carries with her the lessons and experiences that have defined her high school years.
