Students interested in joining the Pahrump Valley High School girls golf program will have an opportunity later this month to meet the coaching staff, learn more about the upcoming season and connect with current and prospective teammates.
The PVHS Girls Golf program will host a meet-and-greet event on Tuesday, June 23 at 4 p.m. at the Lake View Club House, welcoming players and parents to learn more about what to expect during the upcoming high school season.
According to the event announcement, attendees will have a chance to meet Coach Sierra McKillips and Coach Danielle, ask questions about the program and gain insight into expectations, opportunities and preparations for the year ahead.
The event is open to all interested players and their families, whether they are returning to the program or exploring girls golf for the first time.
Participants are encouraged to bring their clubs, as the afternoon will continue beyond the informational portion of the event. Following the meet-and-greet, players will have the opportunity to join the Pahrump Ladies League in a nine-hole scramble, giving athletes a chance to spend time on the course and connect with members of the local golf community.
With summer preparations underway and fall sports approaching, the event offers prospective golfers an early opportunity to become familiar with the program, meet the coaches and begin building excitement for the season ahead.
Families with questions can reach out through the NCSD Rooms app or contact Coach McKillips at smckillips@nyeschools.org.
