Pahrump Valley Little League is once again proudly sending three All-Star teams to represent the community in the District 4 Little League All-Star Tournament in Las Vegas. This year’s lineup includes a Juniors team (ages 13–14), a Little League (10-12) team, and a 10’s team(9-10). While it’s not uncommon for the league to send three teams, this year marks the return of a Juniors team for the first time in several years, thanks to increased player numbers in that age group.
The All-Star players were selected following the end of the regular season, which ran from March through May 15. Teams were officially announced during the league’s closing ceremonies on May 17. All players were nominated and selected by managers from within the league, and they’ve since begun preparing for the tournament with regular evening practices.

“This year, we’re sending our Juniors, 12’s, and 10’s teams,” said league representative Marcie Tillery. “We typically try to send up to four divisions, but this year we didn’t have enough players to form an 11-year-old team. What’s really exciting is having a Juniors team again—it’s been a few years since we had enough players to make that happen.”
All games will be held in Las Vegas as part of District 4, which includes 10 Little Leagues across Southern Nevada. The Juniors division begins play on June 12, while the 10’s and 12’s teams start their tournament runs on June 28. The format is double elimination, meaning each team has at least two opportunities to advance.
Representing Pahrump in the Juniors division are Everett Abelar, Stetson Brown, Trustin Butterfield, Andrew Chastain, Ryder Dixon, Tanner Johnson, Leonel Mendoza-Lara, Christopher Mize Jr., Juan Ruiz, Zyzek Taulbee, Sawyer Tillery, and Zayne Tuck. The team is managed by Scott Brown, with assistant coaches Coby Tillery and Luis Banuelos Jr. Coach Scott Brown shared his enthusiasm for the team, stating, “I’m really excited for our All-Star team as we head into these games. We’ve got a great group of boys who have worked hard and shown great teamwork and dedication. I believe in their abilities and I’m confident they’ll give it their all out there. This is a great opportunity for them to showcase their skills, learn, and become better baseball players and young men. I told these boys from day one that what they put into something is what they will get out of it and it starts with effort! I’m proud of all of them and can’t wait to see what they can do!”

The Little League (12’s) All-Stars include Jaxon Englebright, Lane Howard, Nicholas Jones, Luis Montoya, Caleb Morales, Kody Osterhaut, Kaiser Pormanes, Alan Rodriguez, Greyson Shearer, Kasen Smith, Levi Tracy, and Nathan Zaragoza. The team is managed by Coby Tillery, with assistant coaches Scott Brown and Travis Englebright. Coach Coby Tillery reflected on the team’s strength, saying, “This year’s 12U All-Stars weren’t just a team; they were a force of nature on the baseball diamond. From their explosive offense, which consistently put up double-digit runs, to their airtight defense that seemed to vacuum up every ground ball, they dominated every facet of the game. But beyond the stats, it was their camaraderie and unwavering support for each other that truly set them apart, making them a team to remember.”

The 10’s team includes Isaiah Banuelos, Alexander Daun, Kaiden Dow, Jack Geronsin, Denton Havel, Carter Lovejoy, River Magallanes, Liam Olson, Carson Ozman, Joseph Shull, Sebastian Tillery, and Nolan Willinsky. Jesse Olsen serves as manager, with Brian Tillery and Mark Willinsky as assistant coaches. Coach Jesse Olsen praised the group’s dedication and chemistry: “It’s been a privilege to coach this incredible group of 10U All-Stars. As we head into the All-Star games, I couldn’t be more excited for this group of 10U players. These kids came from different teams, but they’ve quickly come together with great energy, respect, and a shared love for the game. They’ve put in the work, built strong bonds, and are ready to represent our league with pride. I’m proud to stand beside them and can’t wait to see them compete. Let’s go All-Stars!”

While Pahrump teams—especially in the younger divisions—have historically faced tough competition from larger Las Vegas-area leagues with deeper player pools, league officials remain optimistic. “The younger age groups often have a hard time competing against teams from Vegas because of the sheer number of kids those leagues can draw from,” said Tillery. “But once our players hit the Juniors level, we tend to be a lot more competitive. This year during the regular season, we played in the Vegas league, and one of our Juniors teams finished third out of 12.”
With dedicated coaching, focused players, and community support, the Pahrump Valley Little League All-Stars are gearing up to make their mark and represent their hometown with pride.
